Serving Not Starring

Although it is fun to be in the spotlight – remember, ‘we are serving, not starring’. This year we are encouraging every cast, crew and leader to reach beyond their everyday world and do some good for people in need.  DCC is famous for reaching thousands of hurting people in our community through:

Phoenix Dream Center - houses hundreds of people for addiction recovery, foster care support, victims of human trafficking. Outreaches include serving meals, clothing and resources to the homeless. Email Laurie at

Mom’s Pantry – community food bank that serves the north valley. Volunteers must be 9 and older.  Ages 9-15 must be accompanied by an adult and 16+ can come on their own.  If you are interested in helping, email Pam at the address below and let her know that you are coming through COC.  Volunteer times are Saturdays 9:00am-2:30pm and Sundays 9:00am-1:30pm.  Special Needs – gift bag ministry (late November) – details will be posted
